WHAT IS INCLUDED WITHIN THE COURSE?

There are six practice exams, an instructional guidance video, along with six videos to explain the rationale of many of the exam questions that appear in the modules. I will guide you through Quality Care, Risk Adjustment Models, ICD-10-CM diagnoses coding, Predictive Modeling and more. Interactive learning has been the best method for my students; therefore, I have added a BONUS recording. In the BONUS recording, you will listen and take notes as I perform a complete review session with 4 former students who were preparing for the Certified Risk Adjustment Exam. Feel free to use the comment section to ask any risk adjusted questions.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE AVAILABLE RESOURCES

Learning medical coding is a never-ending task, therefore, it is very imperative to stay abreast of the latest updates.

Although the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential has been the most sought after, with the introduction of the Affordable Care Act, risk adjustment coding has become increasingly popular and more opportunities within this realm are being presented.

When working as a risk adjustment coder, the focus is primarily diagnosis coding and documentation requirements, rarely will you obtain the training in the subjects of HEDIS measures, STARS ratings for health plans, Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), data collection sources, RADV audits, predictive modeling, quality care guidelines, and how value-based-care differs from Fee for Service payment models.
